Santa Trip 1st December 2008
On 1st December 2007 Melksham Railway Development Group organised A Santa Rail Trip.
Eighty people travelled by train with the Melksham Railway Development. The train was seen off by the Town Criers of Melksham and Ilfracombe, and on the return trip none other but Santa Claus was on the train ... and there were so many children who wanted to see him that he got off at Melksham Station when the train got back there to see all the others on the platform.
